Guardian of the One - http://www.cowboylogic.net/CLP_Books.htm

Introducing a work of Historical Fantasy, meaning it is steeped in historic fact. It is painted by a
two hundred year sweep across the North American continent by a pioneer family, and framed
by Native North American legend.

You will find real events woven with fictional events and spiced with spiritual emotions we can all relate to.

This tale rides on the back of characters built like real people, with real leanings to the heroic, yet with the fallibility,
that makes us human. You may know some of these people living right next to you. You may also be one of these people,
but I guarantee, once you meet them, you will want to know all about them. They use the language you hear around you,
some of you may disapprove, but they are… real.

Reviews

Thank you for sharing your book with me! I am really enjoying it.
Every night I read a few chapters and I am about halfway into the book.
I can tell that I am going to start losing sleep because it is too good to put down.
I would like to get a book for my Aunt Mary too. I think she would really enjoy the book.
She is a school teacher, a rancher, a story teller, my motorcycle buddy from the time
I was seven, and one of my favorite people in the world.
Best regards,

Lori Earls-Ulm

We have been camping at the river near Petite Creek & I have had the chance to
have some quiet reading alone with only the sound of the river in the background. It has been amazing,
I am on page 333 & I am cherishing
the last few chapters because I wanted it to keep on going. I love it Roger & I wanted
to say wow, wow, wow.
Thanks for the excellent read.
Love

I think your book is wonderful. I've enjoyed your stories on Silverthought, but this
is definitely a richer, more complex story, and I was very impressed.
It can take its place beside the works of Carlos Casteneda, Dan Millman, and Tony Hillerman.
I commend you for your use of a nonlinear narrative technique.
It was a wise choice for this engrossing, mystical tale.
My hat's off to you. Great job!

"Roger's first published novel through Cowboy Logic Press was a joy to edit.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in Historical Fantasy with a
Native American mythological theme. The book greatly rewards re-reading immediately,
like a movie with a twist ending, which you want to see again the next day,
since the author very slowly reveals the information necessary to understand the
larger story arc throughout the first 10 or 20 chapters. So when you read it the second time,
everything takes on a new meaning.
